Born in Athens, Greece. At the age of six he begun piano lessons in the National Conservatory of Athens. He also received Higher Level courses in Harmony with Mr C. Lambrianides. After his High School graduation in 1983, he was succesfully accepted in the Clarinet class of "Ecole Normale de Musique de Paris" under the direction of Mr Jean-Louis Sajot where he obtained a High Level Education degree within two years.

In May, 1989, he returned to Greece in order to serve his military duties. In 1990 he went back to France where at this time he entered the Film Music Composition and Orchestration class of the "Centre d' Informations Musicales de Paris" (CIM) under the direction of Mr Ivan Jullien. In October 1993, he succesfully completed his studies.

Self-educated in saxophone, he played as a session musician in 10 LP's of greek indipendent labels, within the period 1984-1986. At the same time he also played at several Athenian Jazz Clubs as a sideman or leader with major greek musicians.

In Paris, he participated in many bands of various music styles, from Mainstream Jazz to Fusion, as well as Big Bands. He has performed in many Jazz Clubs of Paris, such as the well known "Le Petit Journal Montparnasse", "Les trois Maillets", ... He was also professor assistant in three jazz workshops in "CIM".

Moreover, he has composed the music of several TV series, documentaries, talk shows, TV games, Cartoon Series and over 40 commercials mostly for the greek television (major clients: Panafon, Toyota, Sato, American Express, Softex,...).
